With the continued growth of the Southend branch and the expansion of its worship ministry, the church requires a dedicated Saxophonist / Music Minister to strengthen musical excellence, support congregational worship, and assist in developing the Worship Ministry. The post-holder will work under the direction of the Senior Pastor and the Music Director to ensure that all music ministry reflects the church’s vision, doctrinal beliefs, and worship standards. Main Duties and Responsibilities The Saxophonist / Music Minister will:- Provide saxophone accompaniment during weekly worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, youth services, evangelistic outreaches, conferences, and other religious gatherings.
- Support congregational worship by working closely with worship leaders, musicians, singers, and the Music Director.
- Participate in regular worship rehearsals, music ministry planning meetings, and prayer gatherings.
- Prepare and perform musical arrangements appropriate for Pentecostal worship services, seasonal celebrations, and special religious events.
- Contribute to creating an atmosphere of worship that encourages spiritual reflection, prayer, and active congregational participation.
- Support evangelistic outreaches, community events, youth programmes, conferences, and other ministry activities through music.
- Assist in developing and mentoring volunteer musicians within the Southend Worship Ministry by sharing musical skills and encouraging ministry excellence.
- Participate in baptisms, weddings, funerals, dedication services, seasonal celebrations, and other religious ceremonies requiring musical support.
- Work collaboratively with the Audio Visual Team to ensure the smooth delivery of worship services and ministry events.
- Assist in maintaining musical instruments and ensuring all equipment is prepared for rehearsals and church services.
- Participate fully in the spiritual life of the church through attendance at prayer meetings, worship rehearsals, ministry development sessions, and other church activities.
- Uphold the vision, mission, doctrinal beliefs, and worship standards of Revival House Church in all aspects of ministry.
- Provide music ministry support at the Manor Park branch during major church conferences, special services, celebrations, and other significant events as requested by the Senior Pastor or Music Director.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience serving within a Christian church in a worship, music, or ministry support capacity, either as an employee or committed volunteer.
- Demonstrable experience supporting Christian worship services and other religious activities within a Pentecostal or evangelical church setting.
- Appropriate training, qualifications, or proven experience relevant to the specific ministry role (e.g. music, worship ministry, or church ministry support).
- A clear Christian testimony and commitment to the vision, values, doctrinal beliefs, and mission of Revival House Church.
- Ability to work collaboratively with pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and members of the Worship Ministry.
- Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract of up to 24 months under the Temporary Worker (Religious Worker) route, subject to the requirements of UK immigration legislation and the church’s employment policies.

The Head of Discipleship & Training is a senior pastoral leadership position responsible for overseeing the spiritual formation, biblical teaching, discipleship pathway, leadership development, and ministerial training of members within Revival House Church. Purpose of the Role The purpose of the role is to ensure that individuals at every stage of their Christian journey are equipped to grow in biblical knowledge, mature in their faith, develop Christ-like character, discover their spiritual gifts, and become effective disciples and leaders who actively serve both the church and the wider community. - Preach and teach biblical doctrine during youth services, Bible studies, discipleship classes, conferences, retreats, and leadership gatherings.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive discipleship programme that supports the spiritual growth and maturity of young people.
- Mentor, counsel, and provide biblical guidance to young people facing spiritual, personal, educational, family, and social challenges.
- Lead regular youth worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and evangelistic events.
- Encourage young people to develop and exercise their spiritual gifts through ministry involvement and leadership opportunities.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise youth leaders and volunteers to ensure effective pastoral support and ministry delivery.
- Develop leadership programmes that equip young people to serve within the church and become future Christian leaders.
- Organise youth conferences, discipleship weekends, outreach events, mission activities, and leadership development programmes.
- Work closely with parents, families, schools, and church leaders to promote the spiritual, emotional, and personal wellbeing of young people.
- Support the church’s evangelism strategy by reaching unchurched young people and facilitating their integration into the life of the church.
- Ensure all youth ministry activities are delivered in accordance with the church’s safeguarding policies, values, and Statement of Faith.
- Collaborate with other ministry departments, including Family Ministry, Worship Ministry, Discipleship & Training, Evangelism, and Community Outreach, to provide a coordinated pastoral ministry.
- Participate in regular church services, leadership meetings, prayer gatherings, and ministry planning sessions.
- Assist the Senior Pastor in the overall pastoral leadership, spiritual development, and continued growth of the church.

- Maintains appropriate discretion and confidentiality regarding personal information of the people of church.
- Exceptional degree of professionalism and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Ability to prioritise and make informed decisions in a religious environment.
- Ability to multi-task, sound decision making, self-motivated.
- Equally the post-holder will need confidence and proven organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3 years’ experience working in a church setting as a committed worker or volunteer in Discipleship and Bible Training.
- Qualification degree in Biblical Studies or ministry related field
- Fixed Term contract of 3 years, with a probation period of 6 months.
- Available to start immediately.
- A full enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment.
